2008 song of the year
OK, I know not everyone likes the same things, but I’m having to suspend disbelief at the other reviews, which overall don’t rate this song as anything special. What I hear, however, is just about the catchiest tune I’ve ever heard, along with lyrics that take a well-deserved swipe at a certain right-wing political party. I am having trouble imagining that I am going to hear a better song this year.

This is my first encounter with Firewater and I downloaded the song just because it was being offered for free – but what a great song.
After listening to samples of other songs from the same CD, I bought the full album and I’m loving it.

I was so pleased when I got this song burned to a cd and popped it into my cd player at home. I was bumming around, cleaning house, and this song came on.
