Hey, Train’s Back
As a Train fan, I’ve waited awhile for this song. While it demonstrates more development of the band that is now three very talented men, it is a beautiful blend of the past, early Train with the more recent evolution of the band on “For Me, It’s You.” Coupled with a fantastic mandolin part and Pat’s crystal clear vocals, the song has much replayability and will grow on you the more you hear it – and it will be stuck in your head for days!
Well worth the download and well worth the look at the new album on October 27.

This song is the perfect combination of good lyrics, great instruments, and a singer who can actually pull off the vocals necessary to make it work. It might not appeal so much to die-hard Train fans as it’s quite a departure from the style of their earlier works, but it’s a fun, uplifting song and definitely worth the download.
Fun, catchy tune!
Train has been around for a long time. While never being a favorite of mine, this song, “Hey, Soul Sister,” has an incredibly catchy tune.
Great for a few fun listens, but probably never a future classic.
